About Me
Cheree Martin is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a Member of Australian Psychological Society as well as an APS College of Clinical Psychologists Fellow.
Cheree began her career working as a police psychologist debriefing police officers after they experienced traumatic incidents (such as child deaths, shootings and fatalities). She has had over 32 years experience working as a Clinical Psychologist and has worked in a variety of settings within NSW Health and within various hospitals (including St Joseph’s Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Liverpool Hospital - Traumatic Brain Injury Unit and Nepean Hospital) and various Mental Health Community Teams. She has been in private practice since January 2017.
All people and problems are unique. As such, Cheree does not use a ‘one size fits all’ approach and she will take the time to get to know you and tailor your therapy appropriately. She will select the most appropriate evidence-based methods, adapt them to your needs and assess how they are working for you.
Cheree will offer you individualised goal directed therapy, with a warm professional approach, honest communication and confidentiality.
